Grind and Unwind – Host Terms & Conditions

At Grind and Unwind LLC, your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our business-facing website or engage with our services.

The Host Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of the Grind and Unwind platform as an event host. By listing events, education, and products on our site, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Grind and Unwind LLC’s platform (the “Platform”), including any websites, mobile applications, or services offered, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

  1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to host events on the Grind and Unwind platform. All hosts must be based in or primarily serving the Chicagoland area. Hosts are subject to a basic vetting process, including email verification and event description review.

  1. One-Year Commitment

By listing events, educational content, and products on Grind and Unwind, you agree to remain an active host on the platform for a minimum of one (1) calendar year from your first event listing date.

  • If you choose to leave the platform before one year (except in the case of verifiable business closure), you will be billed the full retail price for each service Grind and Unwind has provided to you, including but not limited to:
  • Event marketing support
  • Custom landing pages or sales funnels
  • In-person setup assistance
  • Ticketing services
  • Email and text outreach
  • Any waived platform fees or discountsProof of business closure may be required (e.g., dissolution paperwork, notice of operations halt).
  1. Platform Fees and Payouts

Grind and Unwind typically charges a $1 + 4% fee per ticket sold, which covers platform access, processing, and basic support.

However, fee structures are negotiable and may be adjusted based on:

  • Event size and frequency
  • Scope of support requested
  • Strategic partnerships or collaborations

Payouts are usually released after the event concludes. Early payouts may be granted on a case-by-case basis, minus any applicable fees.

  1. Content Standards

Hosts are responsible for accurate, clear, and professional descriptions of events. All content must follow community standards:

  • No profanity, nudity, or illegal activity
  • No misleading or exaggerated claims
  • All posted images and materials must be owned by the host or legally authorized for use
  1. Refunds & Cancelations

Hosts set their own refund and cancellation policies. However, all hosts must clearly communicate these policies within their event description. For exclusive Grind and Unwind events, cancelations and/or refunds can be done up until 24 hours before the event date, processed through Grind and Unwind support.

  1. Termination

Grind and Unwind reserves the right to suspend or remove hosts for:

  • Repeated community violations
  • Fraudulent activity
  • High cancellation or dispute rates• Violation of the one-year commitment without proper cause
  1. Use of Data

Grind and Unwind collects and uses user data for internal analysis and marketing purposes, including Google Analytics tracking. Hosts do not receive attendee contact information unless explicitly approved through a collaboration agreement.

  1. Change of Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes agreement to the most recent version.
